Adrià Julià’s Perpetual Monologues Apropos of a Loved Being: Los Angeles 1943 – 1991 opening this Saturday at Dan Gunn explores conceptual geography through an installation combining visual projection and looped sound. With a practice rooted in careful observation of the act of observation, Julià’s Perpetual Monologues disrupts the conventional relationship between time, place, and space, inviting a prolonged meditation on the meaning of being.
