Vernissage / Twist In My Sobriety

Let’s face it, the name of this show is apt for most young people who have moved to Berlin. Faced with the dilemma of dirt cheap beer (yes, we know it’s cheaper than water) and unbridled hedonism throughout the week, let alone the weekend, your sobriety is something you may loose touch with. This exhibition aims to reconnect you with that, presenting nine international artists ’sober images that hint at the stupor found in society and nature, with a twist‘. Held at an old department store in Mitte the show will feature photography, video, installations, and naturally an after party.

This Friday beloved arts centre and former post office The Wye present their latest exhibition offering in the form of Berlin based photographer Danny Peschl. Entitled ‚To The Mountains‘, the event will showcase Peschl’s haunting journey across various landscapes, exploring a dark narrative filled with the horrors of both nature and fantasy. Disturbingly fascinating.

Our verdict: the perfect event to cure Friday’s hangover.
